SPECT images in general can be difficult to interpret without anatomical references. Especially in small animals where organs are close together this can lead to misinterpretation. The formidable resolution of the LOrA-SPECT images help to overcome this issue. In case of doubt though, additional images with the microCT will offer the required coordinates.
